John Arne Riise has revealed that he would be happy to stay at Fulham if the club offers him a new contract.
The 33-year-old defender is due to be a free agent this summer, and he is yet to hold talks with the Cottagers over fresh terms.
Despite some uncertainty over his future, the Norwegian is keen to remain at Craven Cottage next season to help the team battle it out in the Championship.
"My contract is up now. If I'm here or not next season I don't know, but Fulham will always be in my heart," Riise told the Fulham & Hammersmith Chronicle.
"I haven't spoken to the club because my focus has been keeping the club in the Premier League. If they want to keep me and everything is right for me then I'll stay."
Fulham's final match of the season takes place on Sunday when they entertain Crystal Palace.
