Germany have finished top of Group B in the Women's World Cup after cruising to a 4-0 win against Thailand in Winnipeg.
Silvia Neid's charges took the lead in the 24th minute when a corner was met by the head of Melanie Leupolz, the ball soaring into the net past goalkeeper Waraporn Boonsing.
Thailand kept the dominant two-time World Cup winners at bay until the break, but were undone in the space of three second-half minutes when Lena Petermann rattled in a quickfire brace.
Germany then added a fourth in the 73rd minute courtesy of Sara Dabritz's shot into the open Thailand net following smart build-up down the right flank.
The result sees the Nationalelf claim seven points from their three games but with a superior goal difference to Norway, while Thailand sit third on three points.
