Miroslav Klose has revealed his surprise at Germany's 3-1 defeat at the hands of Argentina in Frankfurt.
Germany struggled to recover in the match after Ron-Robert Zieler was shown a red card after only 30 minutes.
Klose, who captained Joachim Low's side during the loss, admits that he is unable to explain the reason for the failure against the South Americans.
"It was curious," Klose told DFB.de. "We all arrived very composed today. But we have a great young squad. And I will be part of this team for as long as possible."
Klose is the second most capped player in Germany's history, with 123 caps to his name.
