Miroslav Klose has insisted that he is only focused on the World Cup after breaking Germany's goalscoring record on Friday night.
Despite finding the net for the 69th time on international duty in the 6-1 win over Armenia, Klose admits that it was much more important to improve his match sharpness ahead of their campaign in Brazil.
"Of course the record means something to me," the 35-year-old told ZDF. "But it is much more important for me to become fit again.
"I didn't have the legs for the last friendly. Now they are coming back and it shows, I guess."
Germany were dealt a blow during the game when Marco Reus was forced off with an injury which could rule him out of the World Cup.
