Former Chelsea manager Avram Grant has been appointed as Ghana's new national team coach.
The 54-year-old has put pen to paper on a 27-month contract and will guide the team in the Africa Cup of Nations next year.
Ghana team president Kwesi Nyantakyi told reporters: "Grant needs time to know the players very well so we can't ask him to win the Nations Cup. That would be unrealistic."
Grant, who took Chelsea to the 2008 Champions League final, has replaced Kwesi Appiah, who left his role with the Black Stars back in September.
