At the bottom, there were wins for Bristol Rovers and AFC Wimbledon. Rovers beat Plymouth Argyle 2-1 in an early kickoff, while Wimbledon won a dramatic encounter at Torquay United.
Rene Howe had equalised in the 89th minute for the home side, before Stacy Long scored from the penalty spot to give Wimbledon their first win in seven games.
