Granada have confirmed that Abel Resino will take charge of first-team affairs until the end of the season.
The Spanish club sacked Joaquin Caparros towards the end of last week after a difficult start to the season, leaving reserve-team manager Joseba Aguado to oversee Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Atletico Madrid.
However, via their official website, Granada have revealed that Resino will now take the team until the end of the campaign.
The 54-year-old, who represented Spain during his playing days, was a coach at Granada in 2012, but had most recently been with Celta Vigo.
Resino takes charge with Granada rooted to the bottom of La Liga, three points from safety.
