A mistake from Granada goalkeeper Julio Cesar allowed Valencia to collect all three points at Los Carmenes this evening.

Having seen his side dominate the opening exchanges, Cesar allowed a shot from Valencia midfielder Sofiane Feghouli to squirm into the net underneath his body in the 32nd minute.

Granada had chances to draw themselves level after the break, but they were unable to breach Vicente Guaita's net.

Valencia ended the match with all ten of their outfield players having received yellow cards.

The away side remain third La Liga table.
