Brazil forward Robinho has joined Chinese champions Guangzhou Evergrande on a short-term deal.
The 31-year-old will link up with his ex-national team boss Luis Felipe Scolari, having penned a six-month contract at the Tianhe Stadium.
Robinho, a former Real Madrid, Manchester City and AC Milan player, was expected to join Abu Dhabi outfit Al Jazira this summer, but opted instead for a new challenge in the Far East.
Guangzhou have also recruited midfielder Paulinho from Tottenham Hotspur, while rivals Shanghai Shenhua have brought in Senegalese international Demba Ba.
