Former Hamburger SV midfielder Felix Magath has ruled himself out of the running to replace Thorsten Fink as manager of the German club.
Fink was sacked on Tuesday following the team's poor start to the Bundesliga season.
Magath, who has been out of work since leaving Wolfsburg in October 2012, insists that he is not interested in a return to management.
"I am not available for the job of manager at Hamburger SV," he told Bild.
Magath enjoyed a successful 10-year playing career with Hamburg before retiring in 1986.
