Hamburger SV chairman Dietmar Beiersdorfer has denied reports that Rafael van der Vaart could depart the German outfit this summer.
Queens Park Rangers have been strongly linked with a move for the 31-year-old, who played under R's boss Harry Redknapp at Tottenham Hotspur.
However, Beiersdorfer told reporters in Germany that he is "counting" on the Dutchman this season.
Van der Vaart has a contract with the German club until next summer.
