Hannover midfielder Szabolcs Huszti has been ruled out for "several weeks" with a muscle injury he picked up during his side's 5-1 victory over Hamburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
The 29-year-old suffered the injury when he fell over after converting a penalty at the AWD-Arena.
Huszti underwent surgery on Tuesday and will now remain sidelined for a number of weeks, with reports in Germany suggesting that he could even be out for the rest of the season.
Hannover are currently seventh in the Bundesliga with 33 points from 23 matches.
