Juanma Delgado has admitted that he plans on using his move to Hearts as a stepping stone toward a Premier League switch.
The Spanish striker joined the Scottish Premiership side from Greek outfit Kalloni on Thursday, signing a three-year deal at Tynecastle.
However, Juanma, who scored seven times in 26 outings last term, says that joining the Edinburgh club takes him one step closer to realising his dream of playing in England's top flight.
"I see Hearts as a great opportunity to take a step forward," he told Sky Sports News. "I'd love to play in a top league like the Premier League in England. Playing for Hearts will help."
Juanma began his career with La Liga side Levante.
