Heerenveen vs. Nijmegen (Saturday, 3.30pm)
Heerenveen will be looking to bring their poor run of Eredivisie form to an end when they host NEC Nijmegen at the Abe Lenstra Stadion on Saturday afternoon.
As things stand, the hosts are 14th in the table, just two points above the bottom three, while the visitors are faring slightly better, up in 10th place.
We say: Heerenveen 1-1 NEC
Heerenveen have looked very poor over the past few weeks, losing their last five games on the spin, but NEC have picked up just one point from their opening three away games.
As such, we expect the hosts to stop the rot this weekend, which would be a huge relief for Van Wonderen considering his side have underperformed massively of late.

Almere City vs. RKC Waalwijk (Saturday, 5.45pm)
Almere City will be looking to pick up their first home victory this season when they take on RKC Waalwijk at the Yanmar Stadion on Saturday evening.
The hosts are currently in 16th place, after a difficult start to the campaign, while the visitors are up in 12th.
We say: Almere City 2-1 RKC Waalwijk
Almere City finally picked up their first Eredivisie victory in the last match, which should be a real confidence-boosting result.
As such, despite the fact RKC Waalwijk's form has picked up, we expect the hosts to get the job done this weekend, although it is likely to be a closely-contested game.

Go Ahead Eagles vs. Heracles (Saturday, 7.00pm)
Go Ahead Eagles will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Eredivisie when they take on Heracles at De Adelaarshorst on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts are now eighth in the table, after a slight dip in form, while the visitors are up in seventh, having taken one more point from their opening seven games.
We say: Go Ahead Eagles 1-1 Heracles
Go Ahead Eagles have won their opening three home games, but Heracles proved they are up to the task of maintaining their Eredivisie status with their 1-1 draw at AZ Alkmaar in their last away fixture.
As such, we think the visitors will be able to take a point from this weekend's match, extending their unbeaten run to four games.

Vitesse vs. Excelsior (Saturday, 8.00pm)
Both coming into this clash after victories in their respective local derbies, Vitesse welcome SBV Excelsior to GelreDome on Saturday night in the Eredivisie just ahead of the season's second international break.
The hosts ended a poor run of form at the perfect moment to get the better of NEC in the Gelderland Derby last weekend, while Excelsior left it late to secure all three points against Sparta Rotterdam.
We say: Vitesse 1-2 SBV Excelsior
Vitesse turned up their performance levels significantly in the second half to earn a win over local rivals NEC in the Gelderland Derby, but Cocu's side still have plenty of questions marks surrounding them ahead of Saturday's match.
Excelsior have started the campaign magnificently and should be confident of climbing further towards the summit of the Eredivisie with maximum points at GelreDome in this clash.
