Sebastian Langkamp has claimed that Hertha Berlin were fortunate to claim a point against Stuttgart on Friday evening.
Stuttgart controlled the game at the Mercedes Benz Arena, but were forced to settle for a goalless draw as the hosts missed the chance to climb off the bottom of the Bundesliga.
Langkamp admits that Hertha should have been more positive, and believes that Stuttgart are unlucky to be in their current position.
"It was a hard-fought point for us. We reacted too much tonight rather than being pro-active," the defender told the Bundesliga website.
"We could have done better on some of our breaks, but we've got to live with the point today because Stuttgart were better than us.
"Stuttgart don't deserve to be down there anyway. They've got good quality in their team and a chain of unfortunate events has led to their current struggle."
The draw leaves Hertha five points clear of Stuttgart in 14th spot.
