Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin have agreed a deal to bring in Norway goalkeeper Rune Almenning Jarstein for the start of the January transfer window.
Jarstein, who will make the move from current club Viking FK when the window reopens, said that he is "looking forward" to playing in the German top flight.
"I'm really looking forward to playing for Hertha as well as in Berlin," he told Bundesliga.com. "The Bundesliga's a big challenge, and I'm very excited.
"Hertha have been having a brilliant first half of the season, and I want to help the club achieve its targets."
Jarstein's deal with Hertha will keep him at the club until the summer of 2016.
