Hibernian manager Terry Butcher has apologised to the club's fans following Friday's 3-1 defeat at home to Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership.
Hibs suffered their fourth loss in six league matches as they were comfortably beaten at Easter Road.
"It was a difficult evening, that's for sure and I apologise to the fans. It was not nice to watch," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"There is a lot of hard work to be done but we know what we have to do and we need to get on with it. I would ask the supporters to be patient because it does take time and we need to work with these boys."
Hibs continue their Premiership campaign next Saturday when they play host to Motherwell.
