Hibernian have reported a £200,000 profit for last season, their first back in Scotland’s top flight.
The result is a major improvement on their Ladbrokes Championship-winning season, which saw them post a £277,000 loss.
The results are for the 12 months up to June 30 so do not include the multi-million pound sale of John McGinn to Aston Villa.
Hibs reported a turnover of £9.6million – up almost £2million on the previous season. Staff costs rose £800,000 to £5.3million but the ratio to turnover fell to 59 per cent.
After finishing fourth in the Premiership, chairman Rod Petrie said the accounts showed the benefits of “a disciplined performance both on and off the pitch”.
