Hibernian will aim to continue their undefeated run since Nick Montgomery has taken charge of the club when they host Dundee in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
The visitors find themselves sitting just above the relegation zone, with only a single point keeping them above the dotted line.
Match preview
Hibernian's positive reaction to Montgomery coming in and taking charge of the club continued in midweek when they managed to knock St Mirren out of the Scottish League Cup.
It was a six-goal thriller for the fans to enjoy, and despite going behind, a brace from Martin Boyle and goals from Elie Youan and Dylan Vente earned them a place in the final four of the competition.
That performance is something the Hibees will be looking to take into the Scottish Premiership this weekend as they aim to continue their four-game run without a loss.
Hibernian have not been as impressive at home as they have been on the road in the league this season, winning just one of their three fixtures to this point.
However, a victory this weekend could potentially see them climb into the top four depending on other results, giving the Hibees plenty to fight for in this game.
The visitors will also be as equally hopeful to take all three points considering they are sitting just above the relegation zone right now, with just a point between them and Aberdeen.
Dundee have proven themselves difficult to defeat as of late, though, losing just once in their previous four matches which came against current league leaders Celtic.
The Dark Blues took a point against Kilmarnock last weekend in what proved to be a frantic game full of highs and lows, with Amadou Bakayoko having given his team an early lead.
However, Dundee were then tested after Josh Mulligan was sent off in the first half, and they ultimately ended up falling behind 2-1 until Zak Rudden scored an equaliser in the 93rd minute.
The ability to fight for a point all the way until the final minute is something that Tony Docherty will want to see his team continue with this weekend, though, as they aim to move further up the division.
Team News
Vente continues to be a major attacking threat for Hibernian, and he is expected to lead the line again this weekend as he aims to continue his personal run of form as he has scored five goals from his previous five shots.
Adam Le Fondre was rested in midweek, but the experienced forward could end up joining Vente upfront if Montgomery aims to switch things up again.
Dundee will be without Mulligan after he was sent off last time out, which could lead to Finlay Robertson getting an opportunity to start.
Rudden will also be hoping that he can feature from the first whistle after he scored a last-minute equaliser after coming off the bench last weekend.
Hibernian possible starting lineup:
Marshall; Miller, Fish, Hanlon, Stevenson; Tavares, Jeggo, Newell; Boyle, Vente, Le Fondre
Dundee possible starting lineup:
Carson; McGhee, Shaughnessy, Lamie, Beck; Boateng; Robinson, Robertson, McCowan, Tiffoney; Bakayoko
We say: Hibernian 2-1 Dundee
Dundee have been putting up a contest against every team that they have faced recently, and that should lead to this being another close contest.
However, Hibernian have been dominant since Montgomery took charge, and that should continue with the Hibees likely to just edge this one.
