Queen of the South kept their playoff hopes alive by defeating Hibernian 1-0 in the Scottish Championship this afternoon.
Derek Lyle went closest for Queens in a first half of few chances, but his shot was blocked on the line after Mark Oxley had denied Gavin Reilly's initial attempt.
The visitors took the lead immediately after the break, with Mark Durnan tapping in after the ball fell to him at the back post.
Dominique Malonga almost equalised for Hibs, but his header was kept out by Zander Clark as the hosts failed to break down the Queens defence.
The defeat leaves Hibs in second, level on points with third-placed Rangers having played two games more.
