Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has been denied the chance to rejoin Hibernian on loan, it has been reported.
The Scottish Championship side was said to have been in contact with the Old Firm club over the loaning of the 24-year-old, but the Edinburgh outfit's request was turned down, according to BBC Sport.
Scotland international Griffiths spent two seasons at Easter Road while on the books at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The former Livingston forward subsequently joined Celtic in January for an undisclosed fee, but has been largely frozen out of Ronny Deila's starting XI.
