Huddersfield Town's chairman Dean Hoyle has hit out at the amount of money some Championship clubs spend on players' wages.
Hoyle said that paying huge wages in the hope of getting promoted is a gamble that he is not willing to take.
"This season our wage bill has gone down to £9m," he told BBC Sport. "The top clubs in this league are paying around £25-30m and that is horrendous."
Huddersfield are currently 13th in the Championship table.
