Danny Cowley has reportedly agreed to leave Lincoln City in order to become the new manager of Huddersfield Town.
After taking Lincoln from the National League to League One, Cowley has emerged as one of the most highly sought-after bosses in the EFL.
The 40-year-old addressed speculation regarding a potential switch to the John Smith's Stadium last week, suggesting that he had not been convinced to end his time at Sincil Bank.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Cowley has now opted to make the step up to the Championship with the Terriers, with an announcement expected later on Monday.
Despite sacking Jan Siewert just three games into the season, Huddersfield continue to struggle towards the bottom of the second-tier standings.
Four successive defeats have left the club sitting in 23rd position ahead of Saturday's meeting with Sheffield Wednesday.
