Winger Tom Ince has acknowledged that Huddersfield Town need to take their ruthless form from their FA Cup win over Birmingham City into their Premier League fixtures.
Huddersfield have dropped into the relegation zone after eight games without a win but on Tuesday night, the Terriers netted three times in extra time to register a 4-1 victory over the Blues.
Ince scored one of the goals at St Andrew's, and the midfielder has admitted that he and his teammates need to take more of their opportunities in the final third against Bournemouth on Sunday.
The 26-year-old told the club's official website: "We probably should've seen the game out of sight a lot earlier because we had a lot of chances but I think it's nice to see we are creating those kind of chances.
"We probably haven't been able to do that in the last four or five games, where we've been able to hit the target and put defences and goalkeepers under pressure. There's signs where we need to kill games off because of the chances we had but our attacking play was a lot better, especially second half.
"We made a long night of it, but listen a win's a win. It's something that's nice to have and it's great for the dressing room going into Sunday against Bournemouth."
Victory over the Cherries may be enough to see Huddersfield move out of the dropzone.
