Huddersfield Town boss Chris Powell has insisted that his side will take great confidence from this evening's impressive 3-0 victory over Reading into the remainder of their campaign.
The Terriers brushed aside their opponents courtesy of goals from Harry Bunn, Nahki Wells and Ishmael Miller to climb up to 12th place in the Championship table.
Having failed to win any of their last three coming into this game, Powell was quick to praise his players following the morale-boosting triumph.
"Tonight was a very good all-round performance - three goals and a clean sheet," he told reporters. "It's still very tight, so we need to keep getting points in the Championship. I'm happy for everyone; our players and supporters. The tempo was better and we got the early goal we wanted."
Powell also revealed that Wells had complained of an injury problem shortly before finding the net, although the issue is not likely to see the striker miss any action.
