Jonathan Hogg has signed a new contract at Huddersfield Town, keeping him at the club for a further three years.
The 27-year-old midfielder joined the Terriers from Watford in 2013 and has since gone on to make 88 appearances in all competitions.
"It's very good news for Huddersfield Town that Hoggy has extended his stay by signing this new contract, as he is a player who embodies our 'Terriers Identity' as much as any other," said Huddersfield head coach David Wagner.
"As I said at the end of last season and all summer, keeping our talented players at the club is just as important as recruiting new ones and it's great that Jonathan's long-term future is at Huddersfield.
"His tenacity on the pitch is a great example to any player, his fitness is second to none and he is a good character as well. I believe the identity we have brought to the team since November suits his abilities and I expect him to be an important player in the coming season."
Huddersfield begin their new Championship campaign on Saturday when they welcome Brentford to the John Smith's Stadium.
