Hull City are to be investigated by UEFA after it was revealed that they could have breached the governing body's Financial Fair Play rules.
The Premier League side are one of several clubs to be assessed, with Lyon and Wolfsburg also being investigated.
If found guilty, the Tigers, who competed in the Europa League earlier this season, won't face any immediate sanctions.
Last season, both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain were fined £49m as well as being handed restrictions regarding transfers conducted during the summer.
