Minnesota Utd vs. Vancouver (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Minnesota United can close the gap between themselves and the Vancouver Whitecaps for first in the Western Conference of Major League Soccer when the two teams meet at Allianz Field on Sunday.

Both sides claimed a 0-0 result in their respective matches last weekend, putting the Loons in third, four points below the Supporters' Shield-leading Whitecaps.

We say: Minnesota United 1-0 Vancouver Whitecaps

Minnesota are creating plenty of chances and should be able to take advantage against a fatigued Whitecaps side that could be susceptible to a letdown following an emotional victory in the Champions Cup days ago.

Inter Miami vs. Dallas (Sunday, 10.00pm)

Inter Miami will be looking to keep their unbeaten league record intact when they face FC Dallas in their rescheduled MLS matchup at Chase Stadium on Sunday.

This match was originally listed to be played on April 26, but was moved later due to the Herons qualifying for the Concacaf Champions Cup semi-finals.

We say: Inter Miami 2-1 Dallas

While Inter Miami are expected to make a few changes to their lineup owing to their Concacaf Champions Cup semi-final second leg in the week, we feel they will still have enough firepower in reserve to pick up the win in this one.

Los Angeles vs. St Louis City (Monday, 12.00am)

St Louis City can climb back into the Western Conference playoff picture with a victory against Los Angeles FC on Sunday at BMO Stadium in the 10th MLS matchday for both teams.

The Black and Gold are seventh in the Western Conference table after a 3-3 come-from-behind draw versus the Portland Timbers, putting them four points ahead of St Louis, who claimed a 0-0 result last week at home to the Vancouver Whitecaps.

We say: Los Angeles FC 1-0 St Louis City

St Louis do not leave many gaps in behind, but neither do LAFC, and we believe playing on the back foot, as we anticipate for long stretches, will eventually cost the visitors on Sunday.

LA Galaxy vs. Portland (Monday, 2.00am)

The only winless team in the Western Conference of Major League Soccer can end that slide on Sunday as the Los Angeles Galaxy host the Portland Timbers at Dignity Health Sports Park.

A late goal conceded in Texas last Saturday saw the Galaxy lose 1-0 to Austin FC, while the Timbers claimed a 3-3 draw with Los Angeles FC.

We say: Los Angeles Galaxy 3-2 Portland Timbers

Both sides seem to throw caution to the wind and go for it, and we believe the reigning MLS Cup champions will finally catch a break against a team that have not improved much defensively from a year ago.
