Inter Milan forward Rodrigo Palacio has admitted that his side have been inconsistent in Serie A this season.
The Nerazzurri are currently fifth in the table and face Parma on Saturday as they look to secure a place in the Europa League for next season.
"To the fans I say that we will do our best to reach the Europa League," Palacio told Mediaset. "Tomorrow we have a very important match against Parma.
"They are near us in the table so we need to approach it like a final. Cassano? If he doesn't play it's better for us because he knows how to make the difference and he can change to outcome of a match in one minute.
"We have lacked consistency. That's the difference between us and the teams above us. I am pleased with how I have been playing this season, I always do the best I can to help the team to win."
Inter Milan have drawn a league high of 14 matches this season.
