A deal to take defender Nemanja Vidic from Manchester United to Inter Milan is "90% done", according to the Italian club's president.
It was revealed earlier this month that the Serbian centre-back would be leaving the Premier League champions at the end of his current contract.
The 31-year-old was soon linked with a move to Serie A, and after it was reported that Vidic had undergone a medical at the San Siro, Inter president Erick Thohir has revealed that his club are close to completing a deal.
Thohir told Eurosport: "I can't saying anything other than the deal for Vidic is 90% done."
Vidic will be exiting United after eight years at Old Trafford.
