Michael Chopra has reportedly been threatened by a man demanding cash at Ipswich Town's training ground.
The striker was accosted by a man posing as an autograph hunter over unpaid debts, according to The Sun.
The 27-year-old revealed this week that he has lost up to £2m through gambling and said that debt carried over from his days at Newcastle forced him to leave Cardiff City for a new club.
