Cameron Jerome has admitted that Ipswich Town deserve "credit" after playing the majority of the second half against Norwich City at Carrow Road a man short.
Christophe Berra was sent off and the home side scored a penalty before Mick McCarthy's side got back on level terms, only for two more Norwich goals to send the Canaries through to the Championship playoff final.
Jerome, who netted the third Norwich goal in the 3-1 victory, told Sky Sports News: "It took a decision to change the game. Credit to Ipswich, even with 10 men they came back fighting.
"It was a little bit of a relief to get the third goal. I think it took a bit of the wind out of Ipswich's sails. Middlesbrough are a good side so we won't take them lightly whatsoever."
Norwich are pushing for an immediate return to the Premier League after being relegated last year.
