Championship promotion hopefuls Ipswich Town have reportedly closed in on the loan signing of Anthony Knockaert from Leicester City.
After appearing in a total of 86 league games in his first two seasons with the Foxes, Knockaert has made just three Premier League starts for Nigel Pearson's side this season and not played for over a month.
According to journalist Pete O'Rourke on Twitter this afternoon, Ipswich want to offer the Frenchman a chance at regular football as they push for promotion to the top flight.
The Tractor Boys are fourth in the Championship with 14 games of the season to go, three points adrift of the automatic promotion places and two clear of seventh-placed Brentford.
