Frank Nouble has had his contract with Ipswich Town terminated by mutual consent.
The 23-year-old arrived at Portman Road from Wolverhampton Wanderers in January 2013, but he has struggled for consistent form and was loaned out to Coventry City at the start of the season.
He returned to Ipswich earlier this month, but the Championship club have now decided to part company with the striker.
"Like to thank all fans, staff and players that I worked with at my time with Ipswich - wish the boys luck this season on promotion chase," the former West Ham United frontman wrote on Twitter.
Nouble scored five goals during his 60 appearances for Ipswich.
