Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy has admitted that he expects there to be interest for young defender Aaron Cresswell at the end of the season.
The 23-year-old full-back has started every one of the team's 43 matches during the current Championship campaign.
"I believe there was interest in him last year," McCarthy is quoted as saying by Eurosport. "I'm not trying to sell my players but I'd be surprised if there isn't interest in him this year.
"He's a Premier League footballer in the making. He's got good pace, he's got a good left foot. He can defend, he can head it. He's not the biggest but he's a good competitor.
Cresswell joined Ipswich on a three-year contract from Tranmere Rovers in 2011.
