Ireland prop Nathan White has suggested that coach Joe Schmidt will come back stronger after his team were knocked out of the Rugby World Cup.
The Six Nations champions were soundly beaten 43-20 by Argentina in Cardiff, which means that Ireland have now failed to win any of the six World Cup quarter-finals they have played in.
However, White is confident that Schmidt will bounce back and make Ireland a better team.
White told reporters: "He's the type of guy who will go back and watch the game probably five times tonight.
"He's very humble, willing to admit mistakes if there are any and change things if it's better for the team. As players as well we need to look at ourselves and what we can learn out of it, as to why we didn't deliver tonight.
"It's a sign of a very good coach to go and pick it to bits. And if things can be improved they are happy to admit that and then they make changes. I'm sure he'll find some things where everyone can improve."
Argentina now face Australia, who needed a late Bernard Foley penalty to beat Scotland.
