Italy duo Mario Balotelli and Daniele De Rossi reportedly clashed during their Euro 2012 quarter-final win over England on Sunday.
It is understood that the argument started in the first period when Balotelli misplaced a cross, with the discussion continuing in the dressing room at half-time.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Antonio Cassano had to separate the pair to split up the two arguing players.
Italy face Germany in the semi-finals on Thursday.
