Gianluigi Buffon has emerged as a doubt for Italy's final Euro 2016 Group E clash with Republic of Ireland on Wednesday after missing his national team's latest training session through illness.
According to various reports, Buffon picked up a fever overnight and was not part of the Italian group that trained on Sunday.
It is understood that the experienced goalkeeper is unlikely to face Republic of Ireland, while Antonio Candreva could also be rested after picking up a hamstring strain against Sweden last time out.
Italy have already booked their spot in the last-16 stage of the European Championships after recording two wins from their two group matches in France.
