Ray Wilkins has been appointed as the new manager of the Jordan national football team.
The 57-year-old has been out of work since leaving his role as assistant coach at Fulham in February.
The ex-England midfielder, who enjoyed a successful 24-year playing career, has named former Manchester United and Arsenal striker Frank Stapleton as his assistant.
Wilkins is due to take charge of the team after their upcoming friendly against China on September 9.
