Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri has claimed that the club will not be forced to make risky decisions in the January transfer window.
The Serie A champions have been linked with the likes of Adnan Januzaj and Paulinho in recent weeks, but Allegri insists that Juventus will not hurry into the market if they fail to land their top targets.
"The club is working to try and recruit players of use," the Bianconeri boss told reporters. "We won't bring in bodies just for the sake of it. We have a competitive squad.
"Having everyone available is crucial for freshening things up."
Reports on Wednesday suggested that Juventus officials had met with Spurs to discuss a deal for Paulinho.
