Gary Dicker has been ruled out of Kilmarnock's Scottish Premiership match against Aberdeen on Saturday after his appeal against the red card picked up against Hearts was turned down.
The 32-year-old midfielder was dismissed by referee Willie Collum for a lunge on Callumn Morrison midway through the second half of last weekend's 1-0 home defeat to the Jambos.
On Wednesday, a Scottish FA judicial panel upheld the "serious foul play" charge at a fast-track tribunal at Hampden Park.
The upheld ban means that Dicker will serve his automatic two-match suspension at Pittodrie and at Hibernian on September 15.
Hearts won in last Saturday's game at Rugby Park via Uche Ikpeazu's 81st-minute header.
