Los Angeles Galaxy manager Bruce Arena has revealed that the club has a "50-50" chance of keeping David Beckham.
The midfielder, whose current contract runs out at the end of November, has been linked with a number of clubs including Paris St Germain and Tottenham Hotspur.
Despite those rumours, Arena has said that he hopes the former England captain will stay.
"David likes LA, he knows where he is at this point in his career and I think the chances are 50-50," he said.
"Once the season is over we'll both be in a position to try to extend the relationship."
The 36-year-old signed for the MLS side from Real Madrid in 2007.
