Paris St Germain have flown representatives to America to try to persuade David Beckham to sign for their club, according to reports from France.
The midfielder's current contract with MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy expires in November and talks are ongoing about extending his stay.
PSG's director of football, former Brazil international Leonardo, recently expressed an interest in signing the 36-year-old.
"He is more than a football player, but when you see him every day he trains and plays like a kid," he said.
"He respects the rules, listens to you and wants the best for the team. That's why for me he is a big example. I would always consider him."
The former England captain joined the West Coast side in 2007.
