Las Palmas president Miguel Angel Ramirez has insisted that Argentine forward Sergio Araujo is not for sale this summer.
The 23-year-old scored 25 goals for Las Palmas last season as the Canary Islanders sealed a return to Spain's top flight.
A number of clubs have been credited with an interest in the attacker, who only recently signed for the Spanish side on a permanent deal from Boca Juniors, but Ramirez has issued a hands-off warning.
"It's true that we're talking about a lot of money, but our project in the Primera is with Sergio Araujo, we don't want to run into trouble and that's why we're not selling him," Ramirez told reporters.
Araujo has previously spent time on loan at Barcelona – scoring seven league goals for their B team during the 2012-13 season.
