Former Leeds United player and manager Eddie Gray has said that he was impressed with the performance of new signing Sol Bamba in Saturday's match against Huddersfield Town.
The 30-year-old Palermo defender has linked up with the Yorkshire outfit on loan for the remainder of the season.
The defender was handed his debut by head coach Neil Redfearn in the 2-1 victory at the John Smith's Stadium.
"There were some good plusses in the game such as the big centre-back playing well - Sol Bamba," Gray told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
"He looked a good acquisition, strong and quick, that's something we need – that bit of pace. And he looked as if he was a good organiser as well."
Bamba has won 42 caps for the Ivory Coast.
