Leicester City manager Claude Puel has revealed that goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is still to return to training after suffering an ankle injury at the weekend.
During the 2-1 defeat to Burnley, Schmeichel needed to be replaced by Ben Hamer and a doubt remains over the Dane ahead of Thursday's Premier League clash with Southampton.
However, Puel has suggested that he will give his number one every chance to recover before selecting his team for the fixture at the King Power Stadium.
The 56-year-old told the club's official website: "It was a fall and a knock. The problem is in his ankle and we will see if he can play in this game.
"We will see tomorrow. For the moment, he cannot train with us. We need to adapt to the situation, of course, like we have done already."
Schmeichel has started each of Leicester's 33 top-flight games during the current campaign.
