Leicester City have been handed a boost heading into Sunday's Premier League meeting with Brentford, as midfielder Youri Tielemans is expected to be fit to feature.
The Belgian played in Wednesday's Europa League clash with Spartak Moscow, as the Foxes fought from behind to win 4-3 thanks to Patson Daka's four-goal performance, but he was withdrawn due to a tight calf and back spasm.
While Brendan Rodgers feared his midfielder missing Sunday's trip, TIelemans is reportedly fit to start at the Brentford Community Stadium, according to Leicestershire Live.
When asked by reporters about the 24-year-old, the Foxes boss said: "[Tielemans] had a spasm towards his lower back. He looks fine. He's doing recovery work today with the medical team, but he should be fine."
Leicester are not without selection concerns for the weekend's game though, as Marc Albrighton will miss out with an injury sustained in the trip to Spartak Moscow, while important midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will continue a spell on the sidelines.
However, the Northern Irish manager is confident that Timothy Castagne and Ayoze Perez will be able to feature, after they spent time out through injuries. body check tags ::
