The owners of Leicester City have reassured manager Sven-Goran Eriksson over his future and insisted that there will be more money for him to spend in January.
The former England manager spent in excess of £10m over the summer, but the Foxes have collected just eight points from their opening six games.
"Sven has all the say on what and who he wants," Apichet Raksriaksorn, son of City owner and chairman Vichai Raksriaksorn, told the Leicester Mercury.
"He has assembled a strong squad. However, if he feels he needs to add to it, we will back him during the next transfer window with whatever funds and resources he needs.
"Sven has signed some quality players and I believe it will be a successful and exciting season. I expect us to challenge for the Championship title and be in the Premier League next season.”
Leicester host Brighton this Saturday at the King Power Stadium.
