Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson has praised Jamie Vardy following yesterday's 2-0 win over Middlesbrough.
The 27-year-old has scored eight goals for the Foxes this season, helping them establish an eight-point lead at the top of the Championship table.
"Vardy did what he has been doing all season - occupying a back four, working hard and converting chances," PA quotes Pearson as saying.
"It is a big plus for the side. His contribution has always been valued by his peers and this season his conversion rate has been better. His contribution was very good."
