Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has hailed his side's ruthless nature as the Foxes extended their winning run to nine games and increased their lead at the top of the Championship.
Kevin Phillips's late goal secured his team a 1-0 victory against Bournemouth away from home on Saturday.
He told reporters: "Cannot assume anything in this league. Must be professional and ruthless. Outside influences must not affect us.
"They threw bodies forward late but we were worth the win. Kev contributes positively on and off the pitch. Great anticipation."
Leicester now lead the Championship by 10 points from second-placed Queens Park Rangers, who drew with Burnley earlier in the day.
